About Aspen Ridge Arborists
David C. Gust founded Aspen Ridge Landscaping & Tree Service in 1990 with a commitment to providing professional tree maintenance services to local homeowners. As the owner and principal service provider, David Gust is both a certified arborist (#WI-0425A) and certified Wisconsin pesticide applicator. With these certifications, Aspen Ridge is able to care for your trees from the roots up.
We are members of the Wisconsin Arborist Association and the International Society of Arboriculture. Our team participates in continuing education, and our service reflects the most current industry practices. You won't see us employing unnecessary practices such as:
- topping a tree,
- removing an excessive amount of live wood,
- using climbing spikes on trees which are not being removed,
- removing or disfiguring living trees without just cause.
About Certified Arborists
By definition, an arborist is an individual who is trained in the art and science of planting, caring for and maintaining individual trees.
Certified Arborists have proven, through a measurable assessment, their knowledge and competence required to provide proper tree care.
Certified Arborists are individuals who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through at least three years experience and who have passed a comprehensive examination. Certified Arborists must also continue their education to maintain their certification.
